Angle transducer
Transducer based on a low-power MSP430 16-bit microcontroller by Texas Instruments (IDE: Code Composer.)
The application firmware acquires the angular position of a rotor by means of two analog inputs, and, after filtering, converts this position into a 4 - 20 mA analog output (through an SPI Digital-to-Analog Converter.) It also handles sensor and DAC calibration, MMI (LED's and push-buttons) and communication with a PC.
