Break-ins & tamper detector

DIN rail mounted device (based on ENEL specification and certified at TUV lab) for detecting tampering and break-ins in remotly located electrical substations and for reporting them to a control center via SMS.

The CPU board is based on a 32 bit low-cost ColdFire microcontroller by Freescale (IDE: CodeWarrior) that interfaces with a GSM module by Sierra Wireless.

The application firmware (upgradeable from the control center) handles acquisition of alarms from the field, exchange of SMS messages with the center (alarm signaling, diagnostics, device configuration, etc.), communication with a PC (Windows application for factory configuring.)
